Safari Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Kigali (Rwanda)
Arrival at Kigali International Airport where our safari guide will welcome you. Enjoy a Kigali city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial and local markets. Overnight stay in Kigali.
Day 2 – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast drive to Volcanoes National Park. Enjoy scenic views of Rwanda’s rolling hills. Optional visit to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Research Center.
Day 3 – Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Early morning gorilla trekking adventure in the forest. Spend one magical hour observing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Day 4 – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda)
Cross the Rwanda–Uganda border and travel to Bwindi, home to half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes along the way.
Day 5 – Bwindi Forest Exploration
Explore Bwindi with optional nature walks, bird watching, or visit the Batwa cultural community.
Day 6 – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and enjoy an evening game drive. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, lions, and antelopes.
Day 7 – Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Morning game drive followed by a relaxing boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel where hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species can be seen.
Day 8 – Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Travel to Kibale Forest, the primate capital of the world. Prepare for chimpanzee trekking the next day.
Day 9 – Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
Track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest and observe them in their natural habitat. Later enjoy a guided walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.
Day 10 – Return to Kigali
Return to Kigali with scenic countryside views. Drop off at the airport for your departure flight.
