Safari Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Kigali

Arrival at Kigali International Airport where our safari guide will welcome you. Enjoy a guided Kigali city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial and local craft markets. Overnight in Kigali.

Day 2 – Transfer to Akagera National Park

After breakfast depart for Akagera National Park located in eastern Rwanda. Enjoy scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy your first game drive searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras and antelopes.

Day 3 – Full Day Wildlife Safari

Spend the day exploring Akagera National Park on exciting game drives. Look out for lions, buffaloes, elephants and many bird species. In the afternoon enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you may see hippos and crocodiles.

Day 4 – Cultural Experience

Visit local communities and experience Rwanda’s rich culture, traditional dances and crafts. Learn about local traditions and lifestyle. Return to lodge for relaxation.

Day 5 – Return to Kigali

After breakfast return to Kigali with optional shopping for souvenirs before your airport transfer for departure.
