The 5-Day Uganda Primate & Wildlife Adventure Safari combines unforgettable wildlife encounters and magical gorilla trekking. Explore the legendary forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the savannah wilderness of Queen Elizabeth National Park, encounter dramatic waterfalls and crater lakes, and witness Africa’s iconic animals up close.

Safari Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe & Scenic Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

• Arrival at Entebbe International Airport; meet your professional safari guide
• Scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (lush countryside, banana plantations, rolling hills, villages)
• Lunch en route; possible wildlife sightings on the way to lodge
• Sunset views across the savannah from your lodge
• Dinner and overnight stay in Queen Elizabeth NP

Day 2 – Big Game Safari & Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

• Early morning game drive: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, Uganda kobs, warthogs
• Lunch at lodge
• Afternoon boat safari along Kazinga Channel: hippos, crocodiles, elephants, water birds including pelicans, kingfishers, and African fish eagles
• Dinner and overnight at lodge

Day 3 – Tree-Climbing Lions & Journey to Bwindi

• Travel through Ishasha sector for tree-climbing lions
• Game drive en route to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (tea plantations, rainforest valleys, terraced hillsides)
• Optional cultural encounter with Batwa community
• Check-in, dinner, and overnight stay near Bwindi

Day 4 – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

• Breakfast and transfer to park headquarters for briefing
• Gorilla trekking adventure with experienced trackers and rangers (spend 1 hour with gorilla family)
• Return to lodge for relaxation and celebration
• Dinner and overnight stay

Day 5 – Scenic Return to Entebbe & Departure

• Relaxed breakfast at lodge
• Scenic drive back to Entebbe, with photo stops and lunch along the way
