The 20-Day Uganda Explorer Safari is the ultimate wildlife and primate adventure. Safari Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival: Entebbe

  • Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
  • Meet your professional safari guide
  • Transfer to hotel in Kampala for overnight stay
  • Meals: Dinner

Day 2 – Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park

  • Drive to Kibale Forest NP (approx. 5–6 hours)
  • En-route views of crater lakes, tea plantations, and rolling hills
  • Check-in at lodge and briefing about chimpanzee trekking
  • Meals: Dinner

Day 3 – Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Walk

  • Early breakfast and briefing at park headquarters
  • Chimpanzee trekking experience with rangers (Permit: $250 per person)
  • Other primates: Red colobus, Black-and-white colobus, L’Hoest monkeys, Grey-cheeked mangabeys
  • Afternoon Bigodi Wetland Walk: birds, monkeys, and cultural community experience

Day 4 – Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 6 – Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Day 7 – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
